OVER 7,000 runners put on their sneakers, headbands and singlets as they took part in the 'Run for Peace 2024' at the Mall of Asia Seaside on October 12.Spearheaded by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity , the fun run allowed casual runners and enthusiasts to come together in the spirit of peace and unity.
'The peace month's theme was a clarion call to all Filipinos that transformation must begin in their minds and be reflected in their lives.The event had three categories: 3k, 5k and 10k. Deputy Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity Senior Undersecretary Isidro Purisima joined the 3k category, showing his advocacy for health and fitness as well as his and Opapru's commitment to fostering long-lasting peace.
