ILOILO CITY – MORE Electric and Power Corp. , the sole power distributor here, is on alert for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections on October 30.
“We are giving the assurance that we are doing everything to make sure there is an unscheduled outage or untoward outage during the election period, particularly on the day of the election,” MORE Power President Roel Castro told Reiner Layson, chief of the Commission on Elections -Iloilo City. MORE Power ground workers are conducting clearing and maintenance operations on facilities near polling centers in all districts here.
