SEVEN out of 10 Filipinos said they engaged in sex more during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic compared to the pre-pandemic, according to a survey conducted by a health insurance company.Based on PhilCare's 2021 Wellness Index of 1,042 respondents nationwide, 69.5 percent, or 724 also said that they were satisfied with their current sexual partner.
They were followed by those ages 31 to 40.According to PhilCare President and Chief Executive Officer Jaeger Tanco, the findings prove that during the lengthy lockdowns, 'couples can enjoy more opportunities to improve their relationship in terms of physical and emotional intimacy'.
