Senior citizens are heading back to the cinemas for free movie screenings as more cities bring back the privilege to their elderly population.
According to Maki Pulido's report on "24 Oras," some seniors watch movies alone, while some go with their partners.In Marikina, San Juan, Quezon City, Paranaque and Malabon, seniors may watch the first and second showings every Monday and Tuesday,
This program depends on the existing ordinance of local government units. While some malls do not offer the program, a 20% discount will be granted to senior citizens.
