With the Tigres on a high after a 3-2 win over the Remparts the night before, the Mooseheads wasted little time deflating their balloon. They built a 4-0 lead in the first two periods and then locked it down with a tidy third.

QMJHL leading scorer Jordan Dumais set the tone with two goals and an assist to give him 21 points in his past seven games. He also extended his points streak to 12 games . He now has 109 points in 50 games to put him 18 points clear of Quebec's Zachary Bolduc in the scoring race.
Alexandre Doucet, Jake Furlong and Evan Boucher also found the net for the Mooseheads and defenceman Cam Whynot had two assists in his first game since getting over a minor injury. Maxime Pellerin and Frederic Brunet were the scorers for the Tigres.
