Modular homes could be one answer to addressing the affordable housing crisis in N.L., according to NDP Leader Jim Dinn.These homes are built by the module or section inside a factory or warehouse. They can comprise one or several parts of various sizes and styles.

"Because your house is built in one place, it's not being exposed to the elements indoors at various stages of construction, it just moves along much more efficiently," Dinn said. "I can't stress enough, it's about making sure Newfoundlanders and Labradorians have work as well," he said.
