MANILA, Philippines — Dennis Trillo , who recently won the Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actor award for his film 'Green Bones,' won the hearts of netizens for donating his P100,000 cash prize to Persons Deprived of Liberty .'I claimed the prize on Dennis ' behalf and it was given to me in cash. I was about to give it to Jen who then told me to donate it to PDLs,' Trillo 's road manager Jan Enriquez said on Facebook.
'What you may not know is that there is a real Tree of Hope in a facility, and the ₱100,000 will be used there to fulfill their modest wishes. When I say 'modest,' I mean truly simple—sometimes they just wish for a new shirt, shorts, shoes, or diapers for their baby outside, and so on. Thanks for your kindness Dennis! You truly embody our movie's main message,' Enriquez said.
