FOR the first time, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority received the highest audit rating from the Commission on Audit for 2019, the agency announced on Tuesday.
The COA gave the MMDA an “unqualified opinion” on the fairness of presentation of the agency’s financial statements for the fiscal year 2019.MMDA Chairman Danilo Lim thanked the commission for acknowledging reforms he instituted from his first year in office. “We are now reaping the fruits of the reforms we have made since our first day in office. We are very grateful to CoA for recognizing this more than two years after,” he said.
