The MMDA has announced the week-long extension of the dry run for the exclusive motorcycle lane along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City. | BPinlacINQ
MMDA Acting Chairman Atty. Don Artes said the DPWH would continue its patching work along Commonwealth Avenue, from Elliptical Road to Doña Carmen, which began a week ago to address motorists’ concerns about the road’s uneven portions and potholes.“With another week of dry run, we hope to inform more motorists to avoid confusion before full implementation,” Artes also said.
Aside from the road patch works, MMDA said it also plans to install reflectors and solar street lamps to further curb accidents in the area. According to the agency, a total of 2,173 motorcycle and 7,584 four-wheel private vehicle drivers were apprehended from March 9 to March 16. —
