NEW YORK — The Beaverton Police Department in Oregon has confirmed the murder of a Filipino-American nurse who was reported missing on September 4.Authorities have yet to provide details on how and where the body of 32-year-old Melissa Jubane , a cardiac nurse at St. Vincent Medical Center, was found.The police arrested Jubane's neighbor, 27-year-old Bryce Jonathan Schubert, who is now facing murder charges.
Investigators have not yet provided details on how the suspect killed the victim, as the case remains under active investigation."As a result of an extensive investigation, it was determined that one of Melissa’s neighbors, 27-year-old Bryce Johnathan Schubert of Beaverton, was involved in her disappearance," Beaverton Police Department said in a statement"Subsequently, Schubert was arrested this evening and charged with Melissa’s murder.
