The Miss Universe Organization announced the details of her arrival and invited fans to join the festivities at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at 5:30 p.m.“We’re excited to have you back home, Queen! Join us as we welcome Miss Universe Asia 2024, Chelsea Manalo, on December 9, 5:30 PM, at NAIA Terminal 1,” the organization said.
“Let’s give her the welcome she deserves for her much-talked-about historic win as a Miss Universe Continental Queen! See you there!” it added. Chelsea’s win at the 73rd Miss Universe pageant in Mexico City last month marks a milestone for the Philippines, as she became the first Filipina to clinch the title of Miss Universe Asia.
In a video shared by Miss Universe Philippines after her victory, the Bulacan-native beauty queen expressed her gratitude to her supporters. “Maraming salamat. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! We are making history as the first Miss Universe Asia!” she stated.
