THE Iloilo City Police Office arrested five individuals, including a minor, in two separate Christmas Day buy-busts on December 25, 2024, resulting in the confiscation of approximately 175 grams of suspected shabu worth about P1,190,000.The first operation took place around 6 p.m. in Zone 3, Barangay Calumpang, Molo, Iloilo City. Police reported seizing around 150 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1,020,000.

This operation serves as a strong warning and underscores ICPO’s unwavering commitment to rid Iloilo City of illegal drugs. Let us remain vigilant, especially with our children, and work together for a drug-free society,” Legada said.Legada added that the operations were part of the intensified campaign against illegal drugs in the city.
