KUCHING: The Welfare Department will assess the police investigation and hospital report on a case concerning three brothers, believed to have been abused in Kangar, Perlis, before deciding on the next course of action, says Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri.

The Women, Family and Community Development Minister said as of now, all the three victims were receiving treatment at Hospital Tuanku Fauziah in Kangar.

Nancy added that welfare officers in the area immediately sent the three victims to the hospital when the case came to light. Kangar OCPD Asst Comm Yusharifuddin Mohd Yusop said the victims were aged between 13 and 16, and that two of them had hearing and listening disabilities.
