In a recent and alarming development, Kim Byung-min, the CEO of MIN COMMUNICATIONS, has issued a stern warning to the dedicated players of RAN ONLINE. The warning pertains to the existence of illegal private servers being promoted on the official Facebook fan page of RAN ONLINE (GS), threatening the integrity of the beloved online game and the trust of its devoted player base.
In a heartfelt letter addressed to the RAN ONLINE community, CEO Kim Byung-min began by acknowledging his role as the former service provider of RAN ONLINE GS, which was officially terminated three years ago. He shed light on the unfortunate circumstances that led to the termination, notably internal employee misconduct and the challenges in recruiting high-quality talent to maintain the game's quality.
One of the CEO's primary concerns is the potential for illegal private servers to exploit players and operate as criminal enterprises. Kim Byung-min believes that these actions could tarnish the memories players have of the game. Finally, the CEO acknowledged that the RAN GS fan page is currently being illegitimately operated by a former employee. He requested the community's support in spreading his message and advised that they copy his post and share it on the RAN GS Facebook page to raise awareness of the situation. Additionally, MIN COMMUNICATIONS intends to request Facebook to delete the RAN GS fan page through the proper procedures.
I, Byung-Min Kim and MINCOM currently legally own the trademark and copyright rights. Although we were asked to sell service rights by several publishers in Korea, we did not sell RAN ONLINE service rights because the development capabilities of the companies we wanted to purchase from were clearly limited, and we have no plans to sell service rights in the future.
