Miles Ocampo revealed she had thyroidectomy surgery following a papillary thyroid carcinoma diagnosis.
, this is the most common type of cancer to affect the thyroid, or a gland that is below the voice box.“Waking up in the middle of the night cause I can’t breathe, I get tired so easily, sooooo frustrated with my weight gain, para akong palaging hapong-hapo and sinasakal.. then finally I had the courage to have it checked,” Miles said on Instagram.
Miles said that she had to undergo thyroidectomy surgery to remove her thyroid glands and that “it all happened in an instant.”
