House of Representatives Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez over the weekend revealed 11 additional bills as part of the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC), including the controversial Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF).
and state-run banks dropped as possible funding sources according to Albay Representative Jose Maria “Joey” Salceda., three weeks after the Senate Committee on Banks, Financial Institutions, and Currencies ended its hearings on the matter.
“It will be on a best-effort basis. We will try to pass the remaining eight bills from the original priority list. If we could do that, we would have approved all of the urgent measures identified by President Marcos in less than a year,” Romualdez said.
