Metro Manila mayors will give a total of P100 million for the victims of Typhoon Odette.
In a resolution signed by the 17 mayors in the National Capital Region who also constitute the Metro Manila Council , the said allocation will be sourced from the savings of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority .
“This financial aid will help especially in these trying times. It’s Christmas after all, a time of sharing and giving,” the MMDA chairman added. Mimaropa , Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao, and Caraga were among the affected regions by Typhoon Odette.
