THE National Capital Region , epicenter of the coronavirus disease pandemic in the Philippines, is now under the "minimal risk" classification.
The only regions still at "low risk" classification are Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Zamboanga Peninsula, as their Adars remain above one per 100,000 population. She also said that the six other NCR LGUs are under "low risk" classification. They are San Juan, Las Piñas, Taguig, Pasay, Mandaluyong, and Pasig.
"The NCR's recent cases is already six times lower than July 2021, which was 628 cases per day; and almost three times lower than the January 2021 reported cases of 288 per day," said Vergeire. "We have observed that, nationally, 48.5 percent of hospitals reported no new Covid-19 admissions in the past five days," said Vergeire.
