Met Eireann says seven counties could see dangerous heat in next four days as warnings issued
Temperatures are set to soar over the coming days as Met Eireann has forecast some areas to see highs exceeding 30 degrees.Daytime temperatures will widely reach the high twenties, exceeding 30 degrees in some locations, and conditions will remain uncomfortably warm overnight too.The advisory will be in place until Wednesday, July 20.
Cloud will slowly build this evening with scattered showers extending across the northern half of the country. There will be patches of mist and fog too. Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in a light southwest to west or variable breeze. Warm and dry with clear spells. Temperatures will stay above 13 to 16 degrees, and there will be a light south to southeast breeze.
