Megawide Construction Corporation has received the Notice of Award for the Cavite Bus Rapid Transit project, but awaits finalization of conditions and documentation before commencing construction.

Megawide Construction Corporation has received the Notice of Award from the Cavite provincial government to implement the Cavite Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. The joint venture between Megawide and Maplecrest Group, Inc. will develop the BRT system and a point-to-point (P2P) bus service. The BRT will connect Kawit, Imus, General Trias, Tanza, and Trece Martires, while the P2P will link the province to the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX).

The project is still subject to the joint venture fulfilling all necessary conditions and submitting required documentation. The groundbreaking and construction start date are yet to be disclosed. The first phase involves constructing Terminals 1 and 2, 27 bus stations spanning 15 kilometers, and the BRT route covering all stations. The P2P alignment will cover 26.5 kilometers from PITX to Terminal 2. The second phase focuses on Terminal 3 and another 20 stations, extending the BRT route by 13.79 kilometers to the New Capitol Building in Cavite Province. The P2P alignment in the second phase will add another 34.11 kilometers, allowing commuters to travel from PITX to Terminal 3
