On social media Thursday, the fast food giant explained they've been affected, at least the supply of their beloved fries, by the "global freight crisis." "The supply of our 'World famous fries' is limited because of the global freight crisis. That's why you haven't been seeing our fries in big, red fry boxes ," McDonald's wrote in a statement.
It assured its patrons however that regular fries are still available in their locations for everybody to enjoy.
