Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto visited on Friday, March 24, the families who were displaced by a fire incident last Thursday, March 23, at Sikap Compound Ismar in Barangay Kalawaan, Pasig City. ManilaBulletin
Sotto, accompanied by City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office Chief Bryant Wong, conducted an ocular inspection of the conditions of the families at the Isma Covered Court Evacuation Center.According to the City Social Welfare and Development Office , the incident displaced a total of 70 families or 217 individuals.
However, 43 families or 132 individuals were recorded at the evacuation center. The other 27 families opted to temporarily stay with their relatives in nearby areas. The Bureau of Fire Protection raised the fire in the Kalawaan neighborhood to third alarm at 5:10 a.m. It was put out by firefighters at 5:37 a.m.
