Mayor Isko: Every politician wants to be President

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Wednesday made this sweeping statement after he was again asked if he is eyeing any national position in the 2022 elections.“President, ‘di ba? ‘Yun ‘yung maximum. As a general rule, lahat gustong mag-Presidente kapag nasa gobyerno ka na. Lahat ‘yan papangarapin ‘yan… lahat ‘yan, syempre, gustong maging Presidente at makapaglingkod sa Pilipinas ,” he said in an online forum.

But Domagoso said destiny and the people would be the ones to decide on whether he will be elected into higher office or not. “Destiny ‘yan, eh. Lahat ng nagplano niyan, natalo. Kusang dumarating ‘yan, tsaka tao nagbibigay niyan ,” he added.
