Norman Abello, OSA.commended the city government, organizations, and devotees that contributed to the success of the inauguration.
"Padre Jose Burgos dedicated his life to the service of God and the Filipino people. Hence, we pay tribute to a man who not only embodied devotion to his faith but also exemplified the ideals of patriotism alongside Padre Mariano Gomez and Padre Jacinto Zamora," Padilla saidShe noted that the unveiling and blessing of the monument likewise served as a tribute to the birthday of the country's national hero, Jose Rizal.for Rizal's 162nd year of birth.
