Las Pinas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar issued on Friday (Oct. 15) an Executive Order (EO) banning the visits to cemeteries, memorial parks and columbaria from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2.
Las Pinas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar issued on Friday an Executive Order banning the visits to cemeteries, memorial parks and columbaria from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2.
Aguilar ordered the local police to conduct inspection together with barangay officials to ensure the EO is being implemented in the cemeteries, private memorial parks and columbaria. She said visitation in the city’s burial sites will be allowed at 30 percent capacity before the scheduled closure. Based on the EO of Aguilar, any person who violates the order will be charged and prosecuted with appropriate sanction and penalty.
She warned that business permits of the establishments that will violate the EO will be immediately revoked with summary closure.
