Twenty-four earthquakes, 257 rockfall events, and 16 pyroclastic density currents were recorded in Mayon Volcano over the last 24 hours, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. | FArgosinoINQ

5 a.m. bulletin, Phivolcs said that Mayon continued to display “intensified unrest or magmatic unrest,” adding that it remains under Alert Level 3 due to “potential explosive activity within days or weeks.”Earlier, Phivolcs monitored two volcanic quakes, higher rockfall events at 308, and one PDC.

Mayon’s “very slow effusion” of the lava flow, Phivolcs added, has reached 1.3 kilometers and 1.2 km along Mi-isi and Bonga gullies, respectively, while the collapsed debris extended to 3.3 km from the crater.
