Maple Leafs winger Matthew Knies continues to turn heads as Toronto’s young guns prepare to face top prospects from the Dallas Stars, Columbus Blue Jackets and Detroit Red Wings at an exhibition tournament in Traverse City, Mich. Mark Masters has more.
The Maple Leafs Prospect Tournament team practised at the Ford Performance Centre on Wednesday before traveling to Traverse City, Mich., for the 2023 Traverse City Prospect Tournament running Thursday through Sunday."Last night we were eating dinner and just seeing Matthew Knies and how big he is," the London Knights forward, Toronto's first round pick in June's National Hockey League draft, said with a smile.
