Kapuso actor Mark Herras clarified that his recent viral video dancing at a gay bar is simply part of his work and nothing more. In Toni Gonzaga's latest vlog, Herras explained that he accepted an offer to perform at the Apollo Male Entertainment Bar in Parañaque because it presented another opportunity to earn income. 'Of course, I inquired about the kind of bar it was,' he stated. 'It's a gay bar , I'm just going to dance, no problem.
' For Herras, performing at a gay bar is comparable to his other work engagements, such as performing at festivals and even on television shows. 'I arrived there as a performer, as their guest,' he explained. 'It just happened to be a gay bar, what's wrong with that?' he added. 'I didn't strip. I performed, I danced hip hop.'Herras emphasized that he is not seeking pity from anyone as he diligently strives to provide for his family. 'I'm at a stage in my life where I don't care about what people say,' he stated. 'As long as it's work, I'm okay.' he added. 'So when I was offered a gig at Apollo, why not? It's a job.' Herras's most recent role was in the GMA Afternoon Prime series 'Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap.' In December, he and his wife, Nicole Donesa, announced they are expecting their second child together. The couple married in 2021 and welcomed their firstborn the same year. Herras gained widespread recognition as the first Ultimate Male Survivor in GMA Network's reality talent competition show, 'StarStruck,' in 2003
