With less than 30 days until the opening of the “Palarong Pambansa” or National Games 2023 in Marikina City, the local government conducted a bike tour simulation as part of its preparations for the upcoming sports event. | ManilaBulletin
The bike tour is one of the important activities that the city will offer to athletes, delegates, and visitors alike who wish to explore Marikina during the games, said the Marikina City local government.
The simulation was done in order to test the proposed route of the tour and ensure the local government’s preparedness for the said activity.The local government has been preparing for the National Games since it was announced this May that Marikina will be hosting the championships this year. Schools that will be used as billeting facilities during the games, namely Marikina High School and Sto. Niño Elementary School, were also personally inspected by Mayor Marcelino "Marcy" Teodoro.
