In a statement, Brigadier General Carlito Gaces, Police Region 4A commander, commended Olazo and Lieutenant Colonel Jesson Bombasi, Bacoor City police chief, for the arrest of the suspects, both classified as “high-value” targets in the government’s drug war.
Meanwhile, a woman drug trader was arrested on Tuesday by policemen in Sta. Cruz town in Laguna province on and seized shabu worth P340,000. The Police Region 4A said in a report that local drug enforcers nabbed Sarah Gomez in a sting operation in Barangay Pagsawitan around 8:30 a.m. The suspect, tagged as a high-value individual in the local drug trade, was found in possession of two plastic sachets of meth weighing 50 grams.
All suspects are now in police custody and will face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.Subscribe to our daily newsletter
