Margarita Fores' wake services has been announced by her son, Amado, on Saturday.According to an announcement posted on Instagram, on February 17, the Bahay na Puti will be open to Margarita's & Fores' hospitality teams from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.On February 18, family and friends may offer their their final farewell to Margarita, also at Bahay na Puti.Finally, on February 19, the wake services will be open to the public from 11 a .m. to 10 p.m. at the New Frontier Theater.
The announcement added that since Margarita was a cancer survivor who also rescued cats, in lieu of flowers, "a donation to the ICANSERVE Foundation Inc., or CARA Welfare Philippines Inc. will be much appreciated."Amado announced on February 11 that Margarita Fores, the brilliant restaurateur and chef who gave us Cibo, Lusso, and Grace Park, to name a few of her restaurants, has died. She was 65.In 2016, she was named Asia's Best Female Chef.
