The latest survey results from OCTA Research showed a dip in the trust and performance ratings of Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte. Marcos' numbers "slightly declined" while Duterte had a "significant drop," in the survey that covered the third quarter of 2024.
Fifteen percent of the respondents are also dissatisfied with her performance, while 33% remain undecided, which OCTA explained may reveal “a growing uncertainty among the electorate.” “It is crucial to highlight that Vice President Duterte-Carpio's ratings have steadily decreased for over two straight quarters in 2024,” the research group said. Marcos received his highest trust rating in Balanced Luzon at 78%, and lowest in Mindanao at 50%.
