“We will usher in an era of greater prosperity where opportunities abound, creating a society where every worker is cherished, respected, and empowered to thrive,” he said. Workers from various sectors took to streets to call for the protection of their rights and protest the government’s public utility vehicle modernization program , which will force old jeepneys off the road.
Workers demanding a salary increase will be disappointed as there will be no announcement of a wage hike this Labor Day.
