President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. has called on Filipino innovators to maximize the “transformative power” of science and technology to attain an inclusive and sustainable Bagong Pilipinas.In a speech delivered by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Marcos recognized the Intellectual Property champions during the “2024 Gawad Yamang Isip Awards Night” in Makati City on Monday.
The President further encouraged the public's participation in establishing the country as a regional hub for smart and sustainable manufacturing, innovation, creativity, and sustainability.“Let us establish the Philippines as a regional hub for smart and sustainable manufacturing, and a place where innovation, creativity, and sustainability shine for future generations to come,” he said.
