PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is set to head off to Singapore to speak at the 10th Asian Conference in September, Malacañang confirmed.
According to the Presidential Communications Office , Marcos will be discussing his administration's priority policies and programs before economic managers and business leaders on September 13, the first Philippine leader to do so at the prestigious Milken Institute.The 30-minute forum, 'A Conversation with the President of the Republic of the Philippines,' will delve on the government's efforts in improving the lives of Filipinos amid challenges from significant global events.
The Asia Summit 2023 will also have discussions on peace and stability, inequality, cultural differences, and irreparable environmental damage in the region.It is also an avenue for think tanks to talk about public health, environmentalism, economic policy, and globalization.
