7 meeting comes on the heels of the president's enactment of Republic Act 12116 or the 2025 General Appropriations Act, which included a veto of P194.3 billion in line items in the Department of Public Works and Highways' budget and unprogrammed appropriations.'We will ensure that social services, including education and health, would remain our priority in accordance with our mandate under the 1987 Constitution,' Marcos said during the budget signing.
