President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. disagreed with the recommendation to announce the Philippines' conduct of regular rotation and resupply missions to its military outpost in Ayungin Shoal.''The President has reiterated that we will not publish schedules of any RORE,'' Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. said during a Palace press briefing on Monday.
A National Maritime Council meeting was held after Marcos ordered concerned Cabinet secretaries to discuss with him the June 17 incident in Ayungin Shoal, which left Navy servicemen injured.Teodoro said the Philippine government would continue to defend the country's territory and exercise sovereign rights thereon as we see fit.
