President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. welcomed the resumption of face-to-face classes on Monday, Aug. 22, with a reminder for teachers and students to keep on observing health protocols against Covid 19.

“Since the threat of Covid-19 is still in our midst, it is important that our teachers and students continue to observe the minimum health protocols to ensure that they remain healthy while learning new things,” he added. The Chief Executive also expressed optimism that the over 28 million students enrolled in K-12 will get a quality education under the leadership of Vice President Sara Duterte.
