AS the nation marks Pride Month, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. assured members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersexual, asexual (LGBTQIA+) community that they will be free from discrimination and their rights will be protected under his administration.

She also rallied for unity, telling the LGBTQIA+ community to always support one another, insisting there's strength and resilience in unity.With the help of the proposed advisory body, the group will be stronger than ever, said Araneta-Marcos, who is a lawyer.
