As Iloilo celebrates Dinagyang Festival, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. expressed hope that Ilonggos sustain their locality’s progressive gains and strengthen their resolve towards growth.
“I join you on this momentous occasion as you showcase Ilonggos’ creativity, vibrancy, resiliency, and faith amidst the challenges that come your way,” Marcos said in his message on Sunday, Jan. 22.
The President also called on Ilonggos to let the gathering rekindle their commitment to work hard and contribute to nation building. He told them to “always say grace for the blessing brought about by Holy Child Jesus-Señor Santo Niño” in everything that they do.
