The administration's Senate slate, running under the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas banner, is fully prepared for the May 2025 midterm elections. Campaign manager, Navotas City Representative Toby Tiangco, announced this on Saturday. Tiangco revealed that the campaign will commence on Tuesday in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s home province.

The administration's Senate slate plans to embark on 21 campaign rallies nationwide, coinciding with President Marcos' provincial itinerary. Tiangco emphasized a grassroots approach, aiming to amplify the administration's call for unity and transformation. He stressed that the campaign seeks to unite Filipinos behind a Senate that will collaborate effectively with the President in constructing a stronger, more progressive nation.Handpicked by President Marcos himself, Tiangco considers his role as crucial in translating the administration's platform into a message that resonates with Filipinos across the country. Known for his experience as a local leader and his record of delivering results, Tiangco is perceived as the driving force behind a campaign that aims not only to secure votes but also to define the nation's future trajectory. 'This campaign transcends the realm of politics,' Tiangco asserted. 'It's about forging a Bagong Pilipinas—a new Philippines that every Filipino can envision, experience, and take pride in.'Last week, President Marcos expressed his confidence that the administration-backed candidates would secure all 12 available senatorial seats. During a speech at the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) Leaders' Convergence Summit in Manila on Friday, Marcos proclaimed his political party possessed the 'best candidates' and the 'strongest party' for the midterm elections. 'Our aspiration, of course, is for a Senate with a 12-0 sweep, that's our target,' the President declared. 'We have assembled, I believe, the finest individuals and the most capable public servants in the Philippines under our PFP umbrella and the entire alliance,' he added.Marcos, also the national chairman of PFP, reassured the administration's candidates for national and local positions that the party would extend its full support to ensure their victory in the midterm polls. 'I believe we have chosen the brightest, the best, and the strongest in the realm of elections and public service. This reflects the exceptional caliber of PFP members and candidates... None of our candidates will falter because they are the best,' he affirmed. 'And anticipate that PFP is the most formidable party in the country today,' Marcos declared, offering his best wishes to the candidates as they embark on their campaign. In September of last year, Marcos witnessed the signing of the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas manifesto by the leaders of the PFP, Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD), Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC), National Unity Party, and Nacionalista Party (NP). The coalition's senatorial ticket comprises Senate Majority Leader Francis Tolentino, former interior secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr., former senator Manny Pacquiao, Makati Mayor Abigail Binay, Sen. Pia Cayetano, former senator Panfilo Lacson, Sen. Lito Lapid, Sen. Imee Marcos, Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr., former Senate president Vicente Sotto, ACT-CIS party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo, and Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar. Abalos, Tolentino, and Pacquiao hail from Marcos' PFP, while Revilla and Tulfo belong to Lakas-CMD led by Speaker Martin Romualdez. Four candidates — Sotto, Binay, Lacson, and Lapid — are affiliated with NPC, while three — Villar, Cayetano, and Imee Marcos — are from NP
