Ezpeleta replaced Vice Admiral Toribio Adaci Jr., who is retiring after a distinguished career marked by modernization initiatives and strengthened regional partnerships. “I expect the same, if not greater, leadership as we have seen from your predecessors,” President Marcos said, addressing Ezpeleta.
Ezpeleta, who has worked closely with Adaci, is expected to continue the Navy’s modernization efforts, focusing on enhancing the Navy’s capabilities in both defense and humanitarian assistance.
