PRESIDENT Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. has appointed a commissioner of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines to replace Noli Eala as chairman of the Philippine Sports Commission after being only four months on the job.
'Yes,' was the brief reply of Office of the Press Secretary officer-in-charge Undersecretary Cheloy Garafil in a text message on Wednesday when asked to confirm the PSC appointment of Richard Bachmann, who was also general manager of the defunct Alaska Aces in the Philippine Basketball Association .Garafil, however, is yet to comment on the supposed naming of former Cebu City sports commission chief Ed Hayco as PSC commissioner.
