According to Marcos, the use of digital technologies will significantly improve government services and help the country improve interconnectivity.
Department of Information and Communications Technology Secretary Ivan John Uy, for his part, said the program seeks to build a “direct connection” that will link geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas to the government.
