President Marcos brushed aside rumors that he had been hospitalized, calling them “fake news” and assuring the public that he is in good health.
“‘Kalokohan lang ‘yan’ ,” was how the President summed up the latest chatter to come out of the rumor mill. “Well, it’s totally and completely fake. I do not even have a cold, I do not have anything wrong with me. I’m fine. Thank you for your concern,” he said. Mr. Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos were rumored to have been taken to the hospital for a medical emergency.
