President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte saw double-digit declines in their approval ratings following developments in the West Philippine Sea, rising commodity prices, and concerns surrounding proposed confidential funds of agencies not directly engaged in maintaining the country’s security.
This is according to the latest survey by opinion polling firm Pulse Asia conducted from Sept. 10 to 14, with 1,200 participants.
“Levels of approval for the President’s work decline in the Philippines as a whole and in all areas and classes . As for the Vice- President, her approval ratings drop at the national level as well as in Metro Manila , the rest of Luzon , Class ABC , and Class D ,” it said.
