Manila will use the newly-rehabilitated Manila Zoo for the pilot implementation of the vaccination of children aged 5 to 11. | JEMendozaINQ

The national government had earlier announced Feb. 4 as the start of the vaccination of children aged 5 to 11.Orellana said that the registration for the said age group is ongoing. No walk-ins will be allowed at the Manila Zoo.in order to enter the vaccination site.to enable the city’s frontliners to encode their records in the city’s system.

Orellana said that while the local government had opened the scheduling system from Jan. 19 to 31, all slots for the said dates were already full. “Now with regards to the start of the vaccination for the lower age group of minors, kindly standby for further announcement if there are changes on the slot allotment,” she said.Meanwhile, Manila also looking into the possibility of using the Bagong Ospital ng Maynila as a vaccination site for children aged 5 to 11, according to Orellana.
