As part of its continued commitment to provide regular sanitation services to its customers, Manila Water released its desludging schedule for the month of March. The water and wastewater
Barangays Martires del ’96 and Santo Rosario-Kaunlaran in Pateros are advised to coordinate with their barangay offices for the scheduled date of the septic tank siphoning.Desludging trucks will also be positioned in barangays Tandang Sora, Krus na Ligas, and UP Campus in Quezon City.
Residents of barangays 764, 765, 767, 769, 775, 776, 778, 790, 791, 796, 798, 877, 878, 879, and 880 in the City of Manila should start clearing obstructions to their septic tanks as these communities are part of the scheduled desludging this month. “We thank the local government units and the residents for their continued cooperation throughout the desludging activities. Since the desludging cycle happens every five years, I strongly encourage our customers to have their septic tanks emptied, even if they are not yet full, during their scheduled date to avoid hassles in the future brought about by clogging and septic tank overflows,” Manila Water Corporate Communications Affairs Group Director Jeric Sevilla said.
Manila Water’s desludging program is part of the company’s efforts to protect waterways and reduce pollution.
