The Manila local government held a visual art exhibit at the Manila Clock Tower Museum in Ermita, Manila on Wednesday, Feb. 1, to kick off the celebration of National Arts Month.

The exhibit showcased the artworks by missionary visual artist and Philippine navy reservist Kristine Lim.

“Unang una maligayang pagdiriwang po ng National Arts Month. Ito pong ating kinatutuntungan, ang Manila Clock Tower museum, ay isang testimonya po na kung papaano ang isang lugar noon ay tambakan lamang ng mga gamit dito sa Manila City Hall ay magagawa nating isang magandang museum na kung saan ay ipinapakita niya ang kasaysayan ng isang minamahal na lungsod ,” the mayor said.The Clock Tower Museum is a historical building that has endured heavy bombings during the second world war.

“We are honored to add this beautiful masterpiece to our collection and share it with all of our visitors,” said Councilor Lim.
