The Archdiocese of Manila’s Ministry on Biblical Apostolate plans to heighten public awareness of the importance of reading the Holy Bible.During the recent word conference held in observance of January as the National Bible Month, RCAM-MBA Minister Fr. Rolando Garcia, Jr. cited the need for many Filipinos to realize the importance of getting acquainted with the Word of God and to make Bible-reading a common practice in homes.
The priest reiterated the call made by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, in his capacity as president of the Catholic Bible Federation and Pro Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization of the Vatican, for the faithful to value and read the Holy Bible.
